Green living

Green living at Elmpark Green: how the campus is designed and cared for with the environment in mind.

The glass double-skin facade of the Elmpark Green buildings

Energy efficiency was key to the design, which is why the buildings have a double-skin facade to enable natural ventilation. To optimise the ventilation and natural daylight, the buildings were designed to be narrow and are south-facing to maximise the use of passive energy. All the electricity and hot water for the development is produced on-site in wood-chip boilers.
